The three-year initiative strengthens Birkheads Wild’s therapeutic offer by increasing on-site support from a clinical psychologist and an occupational therapist. This allows more young people with complex trauma, anxiety, bereavement and emotional regulation challenges to receive tailored help in a non-clinical outdoor environment.
Kavli Trust’s funding also enables the Amplifying Voices project, where young people co-create an audio/visual storytelling series to share their experiences and growth. In addition, part of the grant supports core staffing, ensuring continuity, stability and long-term impact for the organisation’s work.
