NOKAbout CEI and the “Children First!” project
CEI Norden was established in 2022 and is led by Arild Bjørndal, Professor of Social Medicine and former Director of the Regional Centre for Child and Youth Mental Health in the South-East Health Region of Norway.
Through a strong academic network and the expertise of its partners, CEI works to promote a more systematic, holistic, and evidence-based approach to addressing social challenges and inequalities in the Nordic countries.
Kavli Trust is supporting CEI’s implementation of the pilot project "Children First!" in 2023–2024 in the three Norwegian municipalities of Hå, Gjesdal, and Gausdal.
