Changing Stories is a Danish non-profit organisation. Their work is inspired by a deeply held belief that the world becomes a better place when children, regardless of their social or economic background, acquire the essential skills they need to complete their education.

About the project

Changing Stories believes that education is the first step in giving children and young people the opportunity to change their own life stories, the stories of their communities, and ultimately the story of their nation.

The aim of Changing Stories’ educational programmes, supported by Kavli Trust, is to ensure that no student who falls behind is left without support.

The courses specifically target the students performing worst at lower secondary level – those who would otherwise receive little or no help from already overburdened public schools – and help them catch up academically so that they reach the same level as their peers. In doing so, they are given a new chance to complete their education.
