The employees of the Kavli Group also take part in deciding who will receive funding from the Kavli Trust. Each year, they allocate around ten million SEK through their own nomination and selection processes. The projects must be national or local and within humanitarian work.

The employee donations are distributed in the autumn. All recipients are invited to an award ceremony with a donation check and meetings with the employees before Christmas.
