A festival for everyone!
The Festival Collective is the socially engaged arts programme of the Bergen International Festival, featuring both closed and open events outside the traditional venues.
With support from Kavli Trust, The Festival Collective creates a free outdoor programme that brings excitement to the city centre throughout the festival period. Care homes, hospitals, prisons and asylum centres in Bergen also receive visits from festival artists, who perform for residents, patients, inmates and their families.
Kavli Trust’s support also provides around 1,000 free tickets to organisations working with people who would otherwise find it difficult to access cultural experiences.
