About the collaboration

Mali is one of the countries in the world with the highest rates of newborn mortality. The Norwegian organisation NorSahel works to improve both health and education in Mali. The organisation has partnered with Kavli Trust to introduce the HBB method in Mali.

The aim is to train 550 people and, in the long term, help achieve the overarching goal: that at every birth in the country, there is a person with knowledge of HBB and the necessary equipment for resuscitation.
