Kulturhjerte is a weekly meeting place and development arena for children and youth in Lillehammer, including newly settled refugees and children born in Norway. Together, they create a theatre performance based on cultural expressions from all their countries of origin.
Every spring, a new festive performance is presented at Kulturhuset Banken in Lillehammer, featuring an original script and newly composed music.
After the start in autumn, participants meet weekly to get to know each other and share songs and stories.
Parents volunteer to help with building, sewing, serving, and hosting during the performances. These working groups also serve as a social and inclusive arena.
