We support Skåne Stadsmission

Skåne Stadsmission is a charitable city mission supporting vulnerable people in Malmö, Sweden. Since 2018, it has redistributed around 200 tonnes of surplus food each year from shops and food producers. The food is distributed through the foundation’s social activities and to around 100 families via weekly food parcels.

About the collaboration

Kavli Trust supports Skåne Stadsmission in its work to increase capacity and further develop distribution channels, so that even more surplus food can be rescued.

With this strengthened capacity, Skåne Stadsmission can reduce food waste while ensuring that families with children and other vulnerable groups in Skåne have access to affordable, nutritious food, through a more efficient, professional and sustainable food bank and redistribution model.

Kavli Trust owns the entire Kavli Group, including Kavli Sweden, which produces soft cheeses, sauces and dressings. For this reason, we also donate profits to charitable causes in Sweden.
